What is the Consortia?
Green Deal Consortia Ltd is a national company with 4 constituted regional hubs and 4 pending across the UK. Locally we have set up Green Deal Consortia (Wigan & Leigh) Ltd; Green Deal Consortia (Bolton & Bury) Ltd; and Green Deal for Lancashire Ltd. Green Deal Consortia (Scotland) Ltd is due to launch on 26th June in Glasgow.
Governance forms the license agreements which enable the hubs to operate, each with a board of directors who are responsible for the implementation of contractual arrangements. The purpose of the Consortia and its hubs are to provide a local delivery mechanism for Green Deal and ECO funded work by local small businesses. Social responsibility, entrepreneurships and enterprise culture is at its very core.
Everything is processed via the national Green Deal Consortia which has a cloud based IT infrastructure - scalable and flexible with a fluid data process across the Green Deal value chain - from customer’s point of contact to reporting requirements for ORB and Ofgem. IT has a full document management system for installers to project manage installations, customer relation management, payment and invoice processes, appointment systems, PAS 2030 and other accreditation continuity. The Consortia website is a Green Deal superstore, providing a plethora of business support tools for new and existing SMEs. Quality is at the core, and TrustMark is developing a pioneering new quality mark for our ancillary trade members.
We partner Green Deal Providers and utilities to ensure a funding flow that creates jobs for SMEs. We offer traditional finance to enable householders to fund other home improvements. We are inclusive to all corners of society, and offer funding for domestic and non-domestic property types. We are currently passing through a fitness test application for Green Deal Provider authorisation. Other partners include manufacturers, suppliers and trade associations representing small local companies, regional and national organisations, and global PLCs.
Our concept is local - local labour, local training, local job creation and local community pride. So join our network and reap the benefits!
